North Sea

North Sea is a deep midnight blue from Benjamin Moore with distinctly cool undertones. At an LRV of 5.96, it absorbs nearly all ambient light, producing a dark, enveloping effect on walls and trim. This low reflectance makes it most practical in well-lit rooms or as an accent feature in bedrooms and libraries where a darker atmosphere is appropriate.

It contrasts sharply with White Dove or Simply White, which offset its depth. Van Deusen Blue and Gentleman's Gray offer analogous transitions, while Kendall Charcoal provides a near-neutral pairing that maintains the cool temperature throughout.
