Morning Dew

1493 / OC-140

Benjamin Moore Morning Dew (OC-140) is a cool gray off-white with a discernible green undertone that separates it from warmer beige or cream whites. With an LRV of 69.33, it reflects a moderate-to-high amount of light but reads noticeably darker than a true white. The green cast becomes more visible under cool or fluorescent lighting, while warmer light can soften it somewhat.

It coordinates well with White Dove (OC-17) for a cleaner trim white, Dusk to Dawn (1446) for a complementary mid-tone, Chantilly Lace (OC-65) for a bright ceiling, and Metropolitan (AF-690) for a deeper gray-green accent.

Morning Dew in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
