Benjamin Moore

Jester

CC-34

Jester (LRV 6.87) is a deep plum with cool blue-red undertones that place it firmly in the purple-brown family rather than among warmer burgundies. Its very low reflectance means it will absorb most available light, producing a dense, saturated appearance even on small surfaces. The cool bias keeps it from reading as muddy in artificial light.

It pairs well with Benjamin Moore's Swiss Coffee and Classic Gray as lighter counterpoints, and takes contrast from Forest Green or Newburyport Blue in schemes that use deep, cool-toned color throughout.
