Wild Strawberry

PPG1044-6

Wild Strawberry is a muted raspberry mauve with a dusty violet-brown base. It is not candy red. Its depth suits a powder bath, an accent cabinet, or a small bedroom that already has good light.

On large walls, it will feel moodier than the name suggests. Use warm white trim and aged brass. Cool gray upholstery can make the berry note look tired, so use warmer fabrics nearby.

Wild Strawberry in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
