Sun Baked Earth

HDC-CL-08

Sun Baked Earth is a clay red-brown with a muted terra-cotta feel. The earthiness is the point. Put it in a dining space, entry, or exterior accent when a warm color needs maturity.

Bring in cream trim with black iron for structure. With dim light, it will deepen and lose some red brightness. Natural linen softens it. Test it near very orange brick unless a sample proves the undertones agree.

Sun Baked Earth in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
