Valspar

In the Shadows

V141-4

In the Shadows is a mid gray with a faint green undertone. The faint green undertone gives offices and halls depth without reading as sage. Use it in bedrooms, hallways, or offices where a soft neutral needs a little depth.

The green side appears more beside pink beige or warm white. Painted walls show it calmer than a true sage. Pair with crisp trim and simple black hardware. In low daylight, it can flatten, so include contrast through art or furniture.

In the Shadows in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
