Valspar

Golden Ochre

V053-6

Golden Ochre is a deep mustard-orange with a strong earthy base. The mustard-orange base brings heat to trim or doors. This color can carry a front door, powder room vanity, or one focused wall.

It is too assertive for a neutral role. Deep green can handle it. Use creamy trim if the room needs relief. The color may look harsh beside cool gray tile, so test it directly against fixed finishes.

Golden Ochre in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
