Glidden

Galactica

PPG1235-3

Galactica has a silvery, airy cast inside its light blue-green body. Bathrooms, laundry rooms, and ceilings are good places for that small hint of color. Pale stone and natural maple keep the blue-green clean.

In rooms with little daylight, it may become more gray than aqua. A sample across two walls will show whether the color still feels fresh away from the window. Clean and open.

Galactica in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.

LRV measures how much light a color reflects, from 0 (black) to 100 (pure white). Below about 50 a color needs good lighting to avoid going flat, 60 and up helps brighten a room, and most whites sit above 80.
