Glidden

French Toast

PPG15-24

The name sounds lighter than French Toast actually looks. Deep brown-gray with a warm red undertone makes it useful for dens, powder rooms, exterior trim, and built-in walls where depth is wanted. Cream paint, aged brass, and medium oak suit the warmth.

At LRV 29, it needs light surfaces nearby. Matte can look velvety. On doors, satin reveals more brown.

French Toast in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
