Babouche

No. 223

Babouche is a saturated yellow with warm golden undertones that can read deeper in low light and clearer in direct sun. With an LRV of 76.6, it is bright enough for walls but can become dominant on large areas. It is usually used as an accent, on cabinetry, or in smaller rooms with strong natural light.

For trim and adjacent neutrals, White Tie and Pointing keep the palette warm without turning creamy. For depth, Down Pipe and Tanner’s Brown provide darker contrast without shifting the yellow toward green.
