Preservation Plum

PPU17-05

Preservation Plum is a dark muted plum with a gray brown base. The gray-brown base keeps the plum mature, not sweet. Built-ins, interior doors, or a small powder room can use its depth.

On all walls, it needs warm lighting and lighter surfaces to avoid becoming too closed in. Set textured linen beside it with cream trim and antique brass. Cool daylight may make it read more charcoal.

Preservation Plum in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
