Oarsman Blue

S450-5

Oarsman Blue is a muted teal-blue with a weathered, nautical cast. The mid value lets it work on a bath vanity, mudroom bench, or small bedroom walls without becoming too dark. Shaded rooms gray the teal.

In shaded rooms, it shifts closer to blue-green gray. Use white trim and rope-toned natural fiber for contrast. Warm wood can keep it from feeling chilly. Very bright aqua accents can dull it.

Oarsman Blue in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
