Art Nouveau Glass

N570-3

Mauve gray leads Art Nouveau Glass. The color is not a true glassy green, and the purple note stays subtle. A bedroom or dressing area can use it when a regular gray feels cold.

Trim in warm white keeps the wall soft. Polished nickel makes the color feel cleaner. Avoid yellow cream next to it, because the contrast can exaggerate the lavender. Cabinets need at least satin sheen for depth.

Art Nouveau Glass in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
