Gentle Violet

4002-3A

Gentle Violet is a very pale lavender-gray with a barely pink cast. It is delicate. It can soften a bedroom, bath, or dressing space when plain white feels unfinished.

It will not read purple in every light, but white trim can reveal the undertone. Warm bulbs nudge it rosier. Pair with cream bedding or brushed nickel. Avoid yellow-beige fabrics unless the sample still feels clean beside them.

Gentle Violet in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
