Spirit Blue

4011-9

Spirit Blue is a very dark blue-violet with a midnight cast. The near-black blue-violet base needs deliberate lamps and contrast. At LRV 4, this color should be treated like a near-black for lighting and contrast.

It works on doors, built-ins, or a media wall when the room can support depth. Clean white trim exposes the blue. Warm brass adds richness. On flat walls, expect scuffs to show more easily.

Spirit Blue in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
