Shell Pink

P043

Valspar Shell Pink is a light peach-pink with a warm shell-like glow. Its high LRV keeps the peach-pink glow light on full walls. It works in bedrooms, baths, and nurseries, especially near warm white trim and pale wood.

On full walls, the peach side becomes easier to see. Linen, brushed brass, or muted aqua can support it. Cool gray tile needs a painted board because the pink can look stronger against it.

Shell Pink in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.

LRV measures how much light a color reflects, from 0 (black) to 100 (pure white). Below about 50 a color needs good lighting to avoid going flat, 60 and up helps brighten a room, and most whites sit above 80.
