Valspar

Sassafras Tea

V087-4

Valspar Sassafras Tea is a medium tan brown with a warm tea-stained undertone. The tea-brown undertone makes it useful near leather or vintage wood. Save it for a den, entry, or on cabinetry when beige needs more depth.

Sunlight brings out the orange-brown side. Shade makes it calmer and more taupe. Ivory, black metal, or muted green sit close to its undertone. If the floor has strong red oak tones, test a large sample to avoid too much warmth.

Sassafras Tea in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
