Valspar

Ruffled Feathers

V109-3

Valspar Ruffled Feathers is a light blue-gray that feels airy without turning pastel. The 52 LRV range keeps this blue-gray usable without making it sugary. It works well in bedrooms, baths, and laundry rooms with white tile, pale stone.

South light can brighten the blue, so test it if the room already feels cool. Bring in brushed nickel, natural linen, or a soft white trim for balance. Dark wood furniture adds needed contrast and keeps the color from floating away.

Ruffled Feathers in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
