Carousel Purple

V074-2

Carousel Purple is a pale periwinkle blue with a lavender-gray undertone. The name sounds louder than the paint looks. On walls, it can feel airy in a bedroom or sewing room, especially with white trim that is clean but not icy.

Beige carpet may dull the color, so sample low on the wall as well as near the window. Silver metal keeps the cooler note clear. Warm bulbs will soften the purple edge.

Carousel Purple in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
