Valspar

Canyon Earth

1007-9C

Canyon Earth is a muted clay rose with enough brown to keep it from feeling sweet. It belongs in rooms that need warmth with some restraint, such as a den, powder room, or bedroom with stone underfoot. The color deepens quickly in shadow.

On cabinets, a satin finish will make it easier to live with than flat paint. Try it beside cream trim and darker bronze, then check that nearby woods do not turn too red.

Canyon Earth in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
