Almost Charcoal

4008-2B

Almost Charcoal is a dark cool gray with a faint green-blue undertone. Cool charcoal softens exterior shutters. LRV 16 keeps it deep and light-hungry, so cabinetry, trim, doors, or a moody room with strong lamps fit best.

It can look cleaner than black on exteriors. Use it beside warmer white trim plus pale oak. A flat finish will mark easily, so choose sheen carefully.

Almost Charcoal in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
