Hatchling Blue

V103-2

Hatchling Blue is a light aqua-gray with a soft blue-green cast. The pale aqua-gray cast gives ceilings and bath walls a softer lift than white. The color suits baths, laundry rooms, and bedrooms where a watery note can calm the space.

On a ceiling, it gives more interest than plain white. White tile sharpens the blue. Warm wood softens it. Because it is comfortably light, it can cover larger wall areas, but sample near cream finishes to avoid a dingy edge.

Hatchling Blue in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
