Sugar Maple

PPG1090-7

In an older home, Sugar Maple is a medium caramel brown with a golden undertone. It feels richer than tan. Dens, dining rooms, and cabinetry can handle its warm wood-tone character.

The LRV of 48 gives it substance without making it truly dark. Cream trim, deep green, and aged brass bring out the maple quality. Do not crowd it with very orange flooring.

Sugar Maple in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
